It’s that time again and it’s the end of the year. Another year down. That one seemed to fly by. Here’s this month’s picks from me. New stuff from Kid Drama. He’s had a few releases this year, which have caught my eye. Some of them really remind me of Intalex vibes. Something I’m happy to hear from Kid Drama. Some really solid tracks. I hope he’s got more to come next year.

Some music from Manchester is always a must in any rundown written by me and there’s two recent bits for you here. First up the new track, “Front Face”, from Levelz, which comes packaged nicely in a video shot at Outlook Festival.

Also Think Tonk dropped a new bit on Planet V with some snazzy remixes to go alongside it. “Ride On” will just give you a last little drop of summer.

Need For Mirrors popped back up in the inbox this month with a new EP and I have to say that the lead tracks “Pagans” caught my attention. Something about it has had me spinning it more than a few times.

Fixate has got some new fire coming on Exit. Anyone who reads this regularly will know that I love a bit of Exit Records and Fixate has always got something fresh.

none60 also just dropped a new single from Wagz which takes things in a slightly more dnb direction than their usual output. It’s a belter though and it had to make the picks for this month.

Last but not least I thought I would slip in this monster from Proxima, which dropped on an EP of Moby remixes a week ago. The EP also features production from Hybris and Nickbee. They’re worth taking a look at.

That’s it for this month’s rundown. See you in 2018.
