Time is flying and 2016 is already off to a great start. First up for this month is latest bit on Metalheadz by Battery. Reportedly an alias of some already established producers trying out their hand at something different. “Nono” makes my pick. Maybe there are a few clues in there as to who is on the buttons.

A late addition to my record box is “Come” and “Join Us” by Bcee. I didn’t get onto this when his album dropped last year, but I like it now.

Quentin Hiatus own label, Free Love Digi have wasted no time in getting going this year with a brand new single from Ghast and a weighty remix from Sinistarr, premiered by Data Transmission.

Washington DC based Translation Recordings have also been quick out of the box this year with a release from The Untouchables and Resound.

Hospital have just launched an enormous compilation featuring a whole host of recognisable names. My pick from there is the new Ulterior Motive track, “Oddness”.

That’s it for January. I’ll be back in the warmer climate of February, hopefully.
