I’m back with some more drum and bass picks from the world of drums and basses.
Starting off hard this month with Detroit Bass taken from Mampi Swift’s new EP on his own label, Charge. It’s intense, but it’s Mampi.

Plasma Audio are keeping the pressure on with a new single from Proxima. Jibber is my pick of the pair for the switch up.

Whilst we’re keeping things high octane I may as well slip in two more tracks which were also featured in my podcast. Thyss of Noisia’s remix for Sofia Letitre and Dub Phizix’s remix for Basement Jaxx of their track, Buffalo featuring Mykki Blanco.

Check both out below. . .

Translation Recordings unleashed some fire from US based producer, CJ Weaver, who also recently was bitten on the arm by a sloth. This one is one of my favourites from the latest EP.

Ingredients Records is back this month with two new releases from brand new artists. Monika and Arcatype step up to the plate and if the feedback is anything to go by then you’re going to be hearing a lot more of these guys in the future. Tempest and Vultures are my picks.

Zero T has also just deployed a new long player, Golden Section, on Ant TC1’s almighty dispatch label. Fave for me from that one is the Roxy Music VIP.

Sam Binga is another one with a new album out. If you’re into that kind of vibe then this album is for you. My personal favourite is a toss up between the Warrior Queen feature and this one, Mind and Spirit ft Rider Shafique.

Final drum and bass pick for the month is Wintermute’s Euler’s disc out on Boundless Beatz right now. This one is not a tune for your nan.

Finally something bassy from Nexgen music Group’s new signing, Kachina.
