2015 has gone quickly. It’s already almost half over and the summer is in full swing, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t got a spare minute to round up some of my favourite Drum and Bass since the last month. Calibre has been back doing the rounds again lately. He’s just dropped an EP on Exit and there’s another release forthcoming on Soul:R. There isn’t really a highlight on this EP as it’s all so good, but “Strumpet” and “Sweet” would have to be the ones if I was forced.
Whilst we’re listening to the big guns, Jubei has just dropped his first EP on Metalheadz since he finished his album last year. “True Form EP” is made up of five Jubei belters. “Congo” and “Paragon” are my picks, but they’re all heavyweight.
Quentin Hiatus is back again with another release on his Free Love Digi imprint. Atic’s Tuff Times EP came out a couple of weeks ago and has some great features to catch your ears. “Cold Mountain” is my favourite one. It’s not ground breaking, but it more than does the job.
Australian label, Plasma Audio is back on the scene with another single. This time they’ve recruited the help of brit production trio, Kolectiv and German duo, Survey. Some deeper flavours on here for you.
Faded Audio are back with the second instalment of their sci-fi inspired EP series with
Fade, Notion, Kai, Fawce and P Fine. Gritty gear for your ears.
