Drum and bass has barely taken a minute to breathe since the end of the summer. We’ve had huge releases coming at us from all sides. This month I’ve got a few more choice cuts for you to dip into.

Eveson – Tempest – Mars

Ingredients have really fallen for Eveson lately. They’ve already brought out a single by him earlier in the year with Halogenix and are following that up with a new jungle EP called Dreamscapes in December. Now he’s popping up on the label’s sister imprint, Mars Recordings. Slightly more vintage sounding than the Ingredients releases, but you just can’t say no to the flavours on Tempest. B side is huge as well.

Dub Phizix & Strategy – Buffalo – Senkasonic

A triumphant return to the record shops from the Mancunian duo. In contrast to Marka, Buffalo is sans Skeptical, so it doesn’t come at you from exactly the same direction as their previous work. It’s been causing mayhem in clubs and been getting support from every man and his dog. The video nails it as well. 5 stars for the flip, Bounce as well.

Boston ft Solis – Go With Me – Symmetry

Break surprised us all this month with a single on Symmetry from newcomer, Boston. It’s easy to see why Break was into this one so much. Live guitars and some tight production mean it has Symmetry written all over it. Boom.

Theory Of The Avantgarde LP – Various Artists – Avantgarde Records

Dabs and Grotesk took the plunge this month with a new various artists compilation. A whole host of names on there including Fade, ARP XP, Heavy 1, Dabs and more. Plenty of interesting sounds for your ears.

Sabre – Yoga – Plasma Audio

Melbourne based label, Plasma Audio, have dropped their second release. Slightly more codeine out than their first release featuring Icicle, but it pushes hard. A promising follow up to a great debut for the label.
