Silent Dust have wasted no time in getting back on the grind in 2019. They’ve already dropped a two singles on their label, none60.

Hamburg homeboy, Dr Woe, released his first single in a while after putting in some studio hours over the last year or so. Some nice ragged sounding rollers that are well worth checking out.

Regular readers will be familiar with the work of Leipzig based genre bending label, Defrostatica. They’ve commenced their year with a standout EP from Canadian producer, Homesick. Former Red Bull Music Academy attendee, Homesick, demonstrates his penchant for making beats which take any genre labels you try and apply to them and mash them up to a pulp. Elements of juke, jungle, footwork and all kinds of other stuff make his tracks more than at home on Defrostatica.

Kiwi producer, J Plates dropped a new single on Skalator Music. The Relic and Liquid Metal are two snazzy bangers that you should definitely give an airing to.

Get onto this future classic from Quentin Hiatus. Kicking off with some delightful ravey synths and developing into a track which feels firmly outside the mould. Ever So Evolved.

Dogger and Mindstate dropped this one as part of a new EP on 1985 Music. Featuring Liam Bailey on vox. Getting you ready for the summer time.

Rounding off the month we’ve got the enormous hip hop album, From The Deep by DRS and the first single released by Skittles in two years, INIT. Check those ones out.
