Welcome to the final drum and bass bonanza of 2016. It’s been a crazy year for the world and music. Let me take you through some of my personal drum and bass selections from the month of November.

The US based label, Free Love Digi, which regularly pops up in this column has had a busy few weeks with three releases since late october. A single from Dominic Ridgeway, EP from Quentin Hiatus the label owner and last week an EP by Subduktion. A new signing to the label.

You can check out all three below.

LSB dropped his debut album, “Content” on Soul:R. He’s blown everyone away with “Missing You”, this year’s follow up track to “The View” and the Album is a real tour de force. Everything that you would want in the bag from an album on Soul:R.

Bailey popped up this month with a brand new mix CD for the label Vivid Sounds. They curated a selection of classic tracks from the past and invited Bailey to mix them together. The result is the Ressurection mix CD which dropped a couple of weeks back. You can have a look at a preview below. . .

Silent Dust are a duo who get a lot of respect from me. They’re committed to pushing their esoteric sound and they do it so well. The latest single on their strictly lower case label, none60, features a brand new bit from Sinistarr and a Silent Dust remix of Sinistarr’s track. “I Am Not Invincible”.
The remix has to be my favourite of the two. It’s got some great jungle / burial / sunshine vibes.
Check it.

A Sides has continued his onslaught of EP’s this month with “Sector 4”. The penultimate section of his album celebrating 25 years in the world of Drum and Bass. There’s a few nice bits on there. The last part is out in December and features remixes from Break, Spirit and more.

A couple of releases out of Germany for you next with “Shakka” and “Lava” by Filip Motovunski providing some tribal deep atmosphere. Another one out of Leipzig is the new Submarine single on Boundless Beatz.

This single of remixes drops on my own label tomorrow. You can check it out and grab it from our band camp if you like it.
