Summer is here and I’ve got my Drum and Bass picks for the month of may.

First up it’s the debut single for a brand new label, Propatop Music, founded by none other than Mancunian lyrical badman and Levelz member, Skittles. “Mr Song” was featured on Dub Phizix Fabric live mix last november and now it’s finally out and on the shelves for you to pick up. Check out the video below and BUY IT!!!

Next pic is a pure summer vibes release from italian label, Beat Machine. They’ve enlisted the help of German Producer Ticklish and Addison Groove on remix duties for these belting little 7 inch release. Lost is my personal favourite.

JO-S made a return to Drum and Bass in May under new alias, Moralz with a new EP for Free Love Digi. Check it. . .

Kai released his debut album “22 months” on Fade’s imprint. There’s some top cuts on there and it’s well worth checking out.

Ingredients Records released their 50th vinyl a couple of weeks ago and decided to pay homage to the olden days with some Drum and Bass that is definitely aimed squarely at people who know their shit. New stuff from Response and Spirit on there as well as a vinyl debut for label head honcho, Clive.

Up and comer, Cid Poitier makes his solo EP debut on Washington DC based Translation Recordings with the Afrique EP. Pure tribal sounds and trademark deep and dirty translation sounds. A promising start for Cid Poitier who has been getting people’s attention for a bit.

That’s all for this month. More picks coming at the end of June. As ever check out the podcast if you want some more picks.
